Pakistan, Oct. 23 -- Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel's attempt to extend its so-called "sovereignty" over parts of the occupied West Bank. The statement came after Israel's parliament, the Knesset, gave initial approval to a bill proposing the application of Israeli laws in the occupied territory. The move follows two new bills passed by Israeli lawmakers aimed at annexing parts of the West Bank. It came shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump helped broker a peace agreement to end the two-year-long war in Gaza.
