Pakistan, May 17 -- A dangerous heatwave continues to affect large parts of Pakistan, with many cities experiencing extreme temperatures and high heat indexes. According to the latest data from the Meteorological Department, Sibi became the hottest city, with the mercury soaring to a scorching 50degC, breaking recent temperature records.
In Turbat, the temperature reached 45degC, but due to high humidity, the real-feel temperature touched 49degC. The situation is similar in other major cities. Hyderabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Peshawar all recorded 42degC, but the heat felt like 47degC due to poor air circulation and humidity.
