Pakistan, May 16 -- Pakistan has publicly reaffirmed its support for China's sovereignty over Arunachal Pradesh, backing Beijing amid renewed tensions in the region. The Foreign Office (FO) made the statement during its weekly press briefing on Friday, aligning Islamabad's position with that of its strategic ally.
"We support China's sovereignty and territorial integrity," said FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, responding to media questions about territorial claims on Arunachal Pradesh. His remarks follow China's repeated assertion that the region is part of its territory, a claim disputed by India.
