Pakistan, July 31 -- The federal cabinet has approved significant tariff concessions for Afghanistan under the Early Harvest Programme. The Ministry of Commerce circulated the proposal for approval, which received the green light without objection. This new trade initiative aims to expand bilateral economic cooperation and enhance agricultural exports. Officials say the policy will support regional stability through stronger economic ties. The new tariff regime will be effective from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026.
