Pakistan, July 15 -- Pakistan and the United Kingdom signed a new trade dialogue agreement in London to strengthen economic cooperation. Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan represented Pakistan, while UK Minister Douglas Alexander signed for the British government. This marks the first high-level trade deal approved by Pakistan's federal cabinet in recent years.
The agreement sets up a formal platform for regular trade discussions and collaboration. It aims to boost exports, remove trade barriers, and attract mutual investment. Both countries agreed to create joint working groups and conduct annual review meetings to monitor progress and set new goals.
