Pakistan, July 15 -- Pakistan and Russia agreed to boost cooperation in several areas including trade, energy, agriculture, and defence. The agreement came during a meeting between Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. The two met on the sidelines of the Council of Foreign Ministers in Tianjin, China.
During the talks, both sides expressed happiness over their steadily improving relationship. They discussed practical steps to increase business links, share technology, and expand energy and defence cooperation. Ishaq Dar also officially invited Lavrov to visit Pakistan to continue the dialogue.
