Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to work closely on creating a cashless economy. Both countries aim to share knowledge, technical help, and experience. This move is part of efforts to speed up digital transformation in finance and governance.
The decision came after a high-level meeting between the two countries. Pakistan was represented by Bilal Azhar Kayani, Minister of State for Finance. The UAE team was led by Mohammed bin Hadi Al Husseini, also Minister of State. They discussed ways to improve digital payments and modern financial systems.
