RIYADH, Jan. 13 -- Pakistan and Saudi Arabia agreed to strengthen cooperation in mining and minerals, focusing on joint investments and collaboration across the sector. Federal Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik led the Pakistani delegation at the Future Minerals Forum (FMF) 2026 in Riyadh. Both sides highlighted the potential for enhanced bilateral engagement.
On the sidelines of FMF 2026, Malik met H.E. Bandar Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources. The Saudi official praised Pakistan's participation and stressed the growing global interest in mining and critical minerals. He assured technical support and knowledge resources to bolster Pakistan's mineral sector.
