The Pakistan Army and Russian Armed Forces held a joint counterterrorism exercise named "Druzhba-VIII" from September 15 to 27. The training focused on improving tactics in drone warfare, urban combat, and countering improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Both sides worked closely to refine their procedures and techniques for better security cooperation.
Senior military leaders from Pakistan and Russia attended the closing ceremony, including the Vice Chief of General Staff of Pakistan. Troops from both countries demonstrated high levels of skill and professionalism throughout the exercise. Their efforts highlighted the strong military cooperation between the two nations.
