Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- PUTRAJAYA - Pakistan and Malaysia have agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation, particularly in defence science, technology, and industry, through knowledge and technology transfer, during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's three-day official visit to Malaysia at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

A joint statement issued following the visit highlighted that both leaders reviewed the state of Malaysia-Pakistan relations and exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual concern.
