Pakistan, Oct. 26 -- Pakistan and Iran have agreed to create a joint committee to eliminate logistical challenges and improve cross-border trade operations between the two countries. The decision came during a meeting between Iran's Minister for Roads and Urban Development, Farzaneh Sadegh, and Pakistan's Federal Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, held in Islamabad on Saturday. The newly formed committee will submit its report within a week, focusing on easing the movement of Iranian commercial trucks into Pakistan and enhancing coordination between customs and border agencies.
