Pakistan, Aug. 1 -- General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), is on an official visit to Egypt for the third round of defence and security talks.

During his visit, he held key meetings with top Egyptian figures, including President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi; General Abdel Mageed Saqr, Minister of Defence and Military Production and Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces; and Admiral Osama Mounier Mohamed Rabie, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority.

According to Pakistani military's media wing, the talks focused on enhancing bilateral military collaboration, with both sides expressing strong interest in expanding military-to-military cooperation. Areas of focus included joint training, exercises,...
