Pakistan, Feb. 6 -- In a significant move to fortify the bilateral strategic partnership, Pakistan and China have agreed to bolster collaboration in intelligence sharing and cybercrime to counter terrorism, following a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Interior.
During the visit of Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong to the ministry in Islamabad on Thursday, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced the formation of a dedicated Special Protection Unit designed exclusively to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals and projects.
The minister emphasised that protecting Chinese citizens is a top priority and noted that the integration of modern Chinese technology would be instrumental in future counter-terrorism operations.
