Pakistan, July 4 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has confirmed that Pakistan and Azerbaijan have signed a $2 billion investment agreement, aimed at boosting economic cooperation between the two countries. The announcement came during the PM's official visit to Baku, where he met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Speaking to the media, PM Shehbaz called his meeting with President Aliyev "exceptionally positive and result-oriented". He thanked the Azerbaijani leadership for their trust and support in Pakistan's economy and added that more investment and joint ventures are expected in the future.
