Pakistan, Aug. 10 -- The first phase of applications for the Government Hajj Scheme 2026 has concluded, with more than 71,000 applications submitted through the online portal and nominated banks, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The initial round of submissions took place from 11 to 16 August and included payment of the first instalment of expenses.

In the upcoming second phase, unregistered intending pilgrims will also be able to submit applications. This stage will widen access for those who did not participate in the first phase, ensuring broader inclusion in the selection process.
