Pakistan, Oct. 4 -- Seed Cotton (Phutti) equivalent to over three million (3,044,409) bales have reached ginning factories across Pakistan till September 30,2025, registering an increase of 49.24 percent as compared to corresponding period of last year.

According to a fortnightly report of Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) issued to the media on Friday, over 2.6 million (2,686,307) bales have undergone the ginning process. Cotton arrivals in Punjab were recorded 1,136,439 bales registering an increase of 56.37 percent as compared to the corresponding period of last year when arrivals were recorded 726,767 bales.
