Pakistan, Jan. 15 -- OpenAI announced a landmark multi-year agreement with AI chipmaker Cerebras on Wednesday, securing 750 megawatts of compute power to accelerate its AI systems and meet growing global demand.

The $10 billion deal will provide Cerebras' advanced computing capabilities to OpenAI beginning this year and continuing through 2028, ensuring faster outputs and improved performance for ChatGPT and other AI services.

Andrew Feldman, Cerebras CEO, highlighted that real-time AI inference powered by their systems could transform the industry, similar to how broadband revolutionized internet usage, enabling rapid responses to complex AI tasks.
