ISLAMABAD, June 30 -- In a welcome move, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a reduction in LPG prices for the month of July. This cut is expected to benefit millions of households that rely on LPG for daily cooking and heating.

OGRA's latest notification reveals that the price of LPG per kilogram has dropped by Rs7.43. This brings the new retail rate for an 11.8kg domestic LPG cylinder to Rs2,750.60, compared to last month's Rs2,838.31.

The reduction amounts to a total decrease of Rs87.71 per cylinder. It follows OGRA's monthly price adjustment based on global market trends and local distribution costs.
