Pakistan, Feb. 10 -- A Rawalpindi anti-terrorism court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Aleema Khan over her absence in a November 26 protest case. The court noted she and her counsel failed to appear without justification or exemption. The warrants mark a strict step in ongoing proceedings.
Special Prosecutor Zaheer Shah appeared before the court with his team during the hearing. The prosecution requested the inclusion of NCCIA Assistant Director Salman Niaz in the list of witnesses. The court approved the request, expanding the scope of testimony in the case.
