The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Friday announced that there would be no gas suspension on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

In a statement, the company said the scheduled overnight gas shutdown-from 11pm to morning-has been postponed in honour of the religious occasion.

"This decision has been taken by the management for the convenience of consumers," the statement read.

The SSGC spokesperson confirmed that uninterrupted gas supply would be ensured until 10pm on Saturday (today).

"Load management scheduled for Friday-Saturday night has been deferred, and there will be no interruption in gas supply tonight," the spokesperson added.
