Pakistan, July 14 -- JERUSALEM - Israeli Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara has announced plans to indict Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's aide, Jonatan Urich, for allegedly leaking classified military details during Israel's war in Gaza. The indictment, pending a hearing, accuses Urich of sharing top-secret information with Germany's Bild newspaper to influence public opinion.
Urich, a longtime close adviser to Netanyahu, has denied any wrongdoing. His legal team insists the charges are baseless and politically motivated. Netanyahu also defended Urich, claiming he did not endanger national security and labeling the investigation as part of a broader political campaign against his administration.
