Pakistan, July 17 -- The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a nationwide alert, warning of intense rainfall across multiple regions in the next 24 to 48 hours. The authority has urged citizens-especially those in low-lying and flood-prone areas-to remain prepared and cooperate with emergency teams if evacuation becomes necessary.
According to the NDMA spokesperson, Rawalpindi and Islamabad are expected to experience intermittent heavy rain during the next two days.
