Pakistan, May 17 -- Former Prime Minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif praised the Pakistani Parliament for playing a "positive and powerful" role during the recent Pakistan-India conflict. In a meeting with senior party leader Senator Irfan Siddiqui in Lahore, Sharif said that elected representatives had truly reflected the emotions, unity, and resilience of the Pakistani people during a critical moment for the nation.
He highlighted that Parliament not only stood firmly behind the armed forces but also served as a unifying platform that helped the country navigate a tense and dangerous situation. "The voice of Parliament became the voice of the nation," he said.
