Pakistan, April 2 -- The nationwide tally of coronavirus patients crossed 2,100 on Wednesday, with the virus claiming 30 lives in the country. Some 85 patients have fully recovered so far.

Off total 2141 confirmed cases, 709 cases have been reported in Sindh, 748 in Punjab, 164 in Balochistan, 276 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 184 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 54 in Islamabad and six in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Sindh's Minister for Health and Population Welfare Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho Wednesday confirmed one more casualty in the province, bringing the death toll to nine. The 59-year-old patient was a resident of Karachi and was brought to the hospital on March 19 after returning from Saudi Arabia, where he was tested positive the same day, she said. The p...
