Pakistan, Feb. 5 -- The National Forensic , with approval from the Ministry of Interior, has announced new fees for various forensic services, including data extraction, analysis, and expert testimony in legal proceedings across Pakistan.

Under the notification, extracting data from locked or unlocked Android and iPhone devices will now cost Rs2,500 per case, while data retrieval from damaged mobile phones is set at Rs25 per case.

Forensic analysis of smartwatches and classic mobile phones will be charged Rs2,000, whereas SIM card data extraction will cost Rs1,000 per case, ensuring standardized charges for different digital devices.
