Pakistan, Oct. 21 -- Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi has responded strongly to a letter from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) regarding the Asia Cup 2025 trophy. According to sources, the BCCI recently sent a formal request to the ACC, asking for the trophy to be handed over to India following their tournament win. In reply, Naqvi made it clear that the trophy would only be handed over in a formal ceremony.
He stated that if India wants the trophy, they should attend a proper award ceremony. The ACC has proposed November 10 as the date for the event.
