British Pakistani mountaineer Nadia Azad has made history by summiting Mount Manaslu in Nepal, the world's eighth-highest peak at 8,163 metres, becoming only the second Pakistani woman to climb four 8,000-metre peaks. She reached the summit at 5:15am local time on September 26, proudly raising Pakistan's flag and marking a remarkable return to extreme altitude climbing after more than two years away from Himalayan expeditions.
