Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- A most-wanted terrorist belonging to banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was gunned down during a police encounter in Dera Ghazi Khan.

The police encounter took place on Cement Factory Road in the jurisdiction of Kala Police Station located in Dera Ghazi Khan. A spokesman of the police said that the dead terrorist was planning to commit double murder, terrorist activities including police target killing. The spokesman further said that during routine patrolling, some armed assailants opened fire on the police mobile. In retaliation, police gunned down hardened terrorist Bilal Bashir alias Khosa.
