Pakistan, Dec. 17 -- A new phase of public shopping has begun in Punjab with the launch of modern fruit and vegetable markets across wholesale markets in the province. The initiative aims to improve facilities, transparency, and access to quality produce for both buyers and traders.

Authorities have restored all water filtration plants in the modern vegetable markets to ensure the supply of clean drinking water. New staff has been deployed, waste collection systems introduced, and clean, fully functional toilets made available in 188 markets across Punjab.
