Mobile internet services have once again been suspended across Balochistan, including Quetta. The shutdown began on August 30 and will remain in effect until September 6. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) issued a formal notification on the provincial government's request.

Authorities cited security threats as the reason for this latest suspension. However, the disruption has caused widespread problems for users. Students, freelancers, and online businesses are facing serious difficulties due to the lack of connectivity. Many users are also unable to access essential services.
