The company admitted it mistakenly claimed a bug was resolved, only for the issue to worsen for many users. This has caused confusion and frustration among Windows 11 users worldwide.

The problem originated from a critical "Firewall error" linked to Windows Firewall With Advanced Security 2042. Microsoft had said that the update Windows 11 KB5062553 fixed this error, but the update actually made the problem appear on all users' devices.
