Pakistan, July 15 -- Meta has announced stricter policies to reduce the spread of unoriginal and AI-generated content on Facebook. The company will limit the reach and monetisation of accounts that repeatedly repost material without adding original value, aiming to support genuine content creators on the platform.

In a blog post, Meta revealed that it removed nearly 10 million accounts this year for impersonating known creators and flagged another 500,000 for spam or fake engagement. These accounts will now face reduced visibility, demonetisation, or even suspension from Facebook's earning programs.

Unlike accounts that add commentary, reactions, or new trends to existing posts, spam profiles that simply reuse material will be targeted....
