Pakistan, Jan. 21 -- UK-based Menzies Aviation has expressed strong interest in expanding its operations in Pakistan. Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met Menzies Chairperson Hassan El Houry at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Discussions focused on improving airport services, operational efficiency, and investment opportunities aligned with Pakistan's privatisation agenda.
Aurangzeb briefed El Houry on plans to privatise Pakistan International Airlines and outsource operations at Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore airports. He highlighted Pakistan's improving economy and a favorable environment for private investment. Menzies identified Sialkot as a strategic hub for aviation and logistics.
