Pakistan, May 9 -- Former Chief Minister of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti, has urged the leaders of India and Pakistan to stop the ongoing military attacks and talk directly to resolve tensions. She called on both Prime Ministers to pick up the phone, communicate, and work toward a peaceful solution to the current crisis.
In a strong statement, Mufti said military operations have never solved core issues between the two countries. She stressed that such actions fail to bring lasting peace and only increase suffering on both sides. "Military action is not the answer. It never was and never will be," she added.
