A sweeping anti-narcotics campaign has been launched in Balochistan to eradicate poppy cultivation and dismantle drug trafficking networks across the province. The large-scale operation is being conducted jointly by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and local authorities. Acting under direct instructions from Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir and the Balochistan government, the mission seeks to make the province permanently free of narcotics. This initiative signals a strong commitment to eliminating one of the region's most persistent and destabilising challenges.
