Lahore, Jan. 23 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said a comprehensive plan has been made for Basant, including strict monitoring and safety measures. She stated that all relevant departments are working to ensure the festival is celebrated safely. The plan aims to restore public enjoyment while preventing violence and chaos.

Speaking at a review meeting on Basant in Punjab, Maryam Nawaz said Lahore has a well-prepared traffic management plan for the festival. She emphasized that the people of Punjab will be able to enjoy their festivities safely in February. The Chief Minister highlighted that Basant has been celebrated for centuries to mark the arrival of spring.
