Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched Faisalabad's first fleet of electric buses on Monday, combining a major step towards modern public transport with fiery remarks against her political opponents.

Speaking at the ceremony, Maryam said she was open to personal criticism but would not compromise when it came to Punjab's rights and progress. She vowed a firm "tit for tat" response.

She praised senior party figures for their loyalty to her father, Nawaz Sharif, highlighting Rana Sanaullah's resilience during his arrest. She said their commitment reflected the enduring strength of the PML-N.
