Pakistan, May 9 -- Mari Energies Limited has announced a significant natural gas discovery at its Soho-1 exploratory well in the Sujawal Block of Sindh. The gas was found in the Lower Goru (Massive Sand) Formation and marks a major breakthrough in the region's exploration efforts.
Initial testing revealed that the well produced 30.01 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas at a wellhead pressure of 1,482.5 psig using a 64/64" choke. When tested with a smaller 32/64" choke, it delivered 18.84 MMSCFD at a higher pressure of 3,447.8 psig.
