Pakistan, July 11 -- Many airlines have suspended or delayed flights to the Middle East following a 12-day air conflict between Iran and Israel that ended with a US-brokered ceasefire in late June. Although Tehran's Imam Khomeini Airport reopened on July 4 after a 20-day closure, safety concerns and airspace restrictions continue to disrupt air travel in the region.
Several airlines have announced cancellations or changes to their schedules. Greek carrier Aegean Airlines will gradually resume flights to Beirut, Erbil, and Amman between July 10 and July 19, but flights to Tel Aviv remain suspended until early September. Similarly, Air Baltic from Latvia has canceled all flights to and from Tel Aviv until the end of September.
