Pakistan, July 29 -- Under direct orders from the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the iron-fist zero-tolerance policy of Chief Executive LESCO, Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt, Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has launched a no-holds-barred crackdown on electricity theft and it's not slowing down.

In just one week, LESCO's anti-theft teams went full throttle, conducting coordinated and aggressive operations against electricity thieves across the region. A staggering 1,432 complaints of electricity theft poured in, broken down into 1,385 residential, 36 commercial, 10 agricultural, and 1 industrial cases.

Out of these, 1,419 FIR applications were filed with the police, 607 FIRs were officially registered, and 22 culprits were arrested...
