Pakistan, June 1 -- LAHORE - The city administration has rolled out a Rs 76 crore project to repair and restore over 272,000 streetlights across Lahore, aiming to enhance public safety and reduce energy wastage.
The large-scale effort will be carried out in six municipal zones, with a key focus on improving night-time visibility and addressing long-standing complaints about dark and unsafe streets. In the first phase, authorities will install 150,000 new streetlights to replace broken or outdated units.
