Pakistan, Aug. 6 -- The Lahore High Court has stopped the Municipal Corporation from taking any disciplinary action to remove buffaloes from the city limits. The court has directed the Chief Officer of the Municipal Corporation to first listen to the petitioners before making any decision.

During the hearing of the petition filed against the decision to remove buffaloes from the city, the High Court clearly instructed that no action should be taken without giving the affected people a fair chance to present their views.

The petitioners argued that the Municipal Corporation had earlier allowed them to keep their buffaloes away from residential areas. However, after following those instructions, they are now being told to shift completely...
