Pakistan, July 23 -- Lahore faced heavy rain early Wednesday, leading to flooding in many low-lying areas across the city. Neighborhoods like Mall Road, Lakshmi Chowk, Garden Town, and Ferozepur Road were submerged as water accumulated rapidly. Frequent power outages were reported due to feeder trips, disrupting electricity supply in several districts.
Rescue 1122 officials confirmed that a roof collapsed in the Lokhoder Rang Road area, killing one person. Three others were injured and immediately taken to the hospital, where their conditions are reported to be stable. Urban Search and Rescue teams worked to pull three people alive from the debris after the incident.
