Pakistan, Oct. 2 -- For the first time in Punjab's history, anti-smog guns have been introduced in Lahore on the special instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The initiative aims to reduce air pollution and provide relief from hazardous smog conditions. These high-capacity guns are being seen as a crucial step to control rising respiratory and lung-related health issues that intensify during the winter season.

The guns, which are mounted on tankers holding 16,000 liters of water, have the ability to spray water up to 100 meters into the air.
