Pakistan, June 17 -- PESHAWAR - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced a major development push for the fiscal year 2025-26, allocating massive funds for 2,159 projects across multiple sectors. Out of these, 810 are brand-new initiatives aimed at boosting infrastructure and services across the province.

According to the provincial finance department, the road infrastructure sector will receive the highest share of the budget. A total of 221 new road projects are planned, reflecting the government's strong focus on improving connectivity and transportation.
