Pakistan, Dec. 29 -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi criticized Punjab's government over his Lahore visit, calling the treatment humiliating. He wrote a letter to Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz demanding action. Afridi said administrative measures aimed to embarrass him, not mere oversight or accidents.
In the letter, Afridi said he visited Lahore as a representative of 40 million people. He claimed public areas, markets, and even motorway rest areas were unnecessarily closed, causing inconvenience to citizens. He added that social media campaigns linked him to drug smuggling, orchestrated under Punjab government oversight.
