Pakistan, June 18 -- Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei firmly rejected U.S. President Donald Trump's call for unconditional surrender, saying Iran would never accept threats. His remarks came through a televised statement on Wednesday, marking his first response since Israel began bombing Iran last week.
Khamenei said that peace or war cannot be forced upon Iran. He added, "Those who understand Iran's history should know-threats won't work. We will never surrender." He also warned the U.S. that any military action will cause serious and lasting damage.
