Pakistan, July 29 -- Former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was removed from a Frontier Airlines flight earlier this year while trying to reach his favorite Pakistani restaurant in San Francisco. The incident happened in January, but the real reason for his travel has only recently been revealed in a podcast appearance.

Speaking on the 'Hustle Show' podcast with Adam Zubayraev, Khabib said he was rushing to reach Chutney restaurant before it closed at 10 pm. Since the only flight available was a 5 pm departure from Las Vegas to San Francisco, he chose to board it-even though it was an economy seat.
