Pakistan, Feb. 12 -- Filmmaker Karan Johar has called Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's character in 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' a hypocrite.

Johar made his directorial debut with the 1998 movie starring Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. The film proved to be a blockbuster at the box office and its tracks were among the chartbusters at the time. However, Karan Johar has now criticised 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,' saying that the Bollywood film got the gender politics wrong.
