Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah proposed a joint effort with Pakistan Railways to revive the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR). He said the project is urgent and has faced long delays. Shah suggested outsourcing operations to improve service quality and efficiency.
During a meeting with Federal Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi, Shah emphasized upgrading the Karachi-to-Rohri rail line. He said running more trains on this route would greatly ease commuter travel. The improvements aim to reduce traffic congestion and improve public transport in the region.
